Beep or nothing at all?
You decide. With "Silence" the bad word simply vanishes from the audio, no beep. With "Beep" you hear the classic TV beep. Change it in one click anytime.
Does it work on TV or mobile?
Only on Netflix web (Chrome/Edge/Brave). TV and mobile apps are DRM-protected. Connect your laptop via HDMI or cast from Chrome.
Do I need subtitles on?
No. The extension pulls subtitle timing straight from Netflix even when they are off. If you turn them on, you will also see the word covered with ████. Without subtitles there is no visual signal at all: it just is not heard (or the beep plays).
Is it private?
100%. Nothing you watch leaves your browser. Only your word list and settings sync.
